If you are considering taking up paddle sports, whether it is canoe or kayak, we invite you to join us for an on-water “test drive”, Wednesday evenings 5-7pm, through August.
We are excited to be able to offer on water demos at our “home” site- Harvey’s Beach in Old Saybrook. A beautiful sandy town beach on Long Island Sound.
This is a wonderful spot to get your feet wet in the sport of paddling.
We
will bring a varied selection of boats, ranging from beginner models to
touring
crafts.
Bring spare clothes and a towel. PFD's
and paddles are provided.
Because all paddlers vary in
skill level, this is a weather-permitting event only, and we will not hold it
under inclement conditions.
WEATHER PERMITTING - If
the weather is questionable on any given Wednesday, the decision will be made
by 4:00pm whether or not the demo will be held, so call North
Cove Outfitters at 860-388-6585 OR VISIT this website www.northcove.com There is no cost, however children
under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
